So much violence in the world and these past few weeks have exploded in the US, now in Germany. My prayers go out to those in Germany.

I do have to confess.. I struggle to watch the news, to show care, concern. To consume anything with negativity. I think I'm experiencing apathy. It's easier to remain ignorant than to invest. Yet, I'm feeling challenged. How do I combat this mentality?

I'm frustrated with the politics and violence. Here in the US and abroad. How do I filter news and not numb myself with entertainment? -
